The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Shmaker Eyeshadow Palette

Introducing the Meet Matt(e) Shmaker Eyeshadow Palette from the Balm Cosmetics! Featuring a perfectly paired selection of 6 matte and 6 shimmer shadows, this palette is sure to melt your heart. Get ‘set-up’ for success with shades that are highly pigmented, triple milled and velvety smooth.

My newest eyeshadow palette is Meet Matt(e) Shmaker from the balm. I have eyeshadows bursting from the seams in my room so you would think I have every colour going, but not really as every shadow is different, some may be very similar while others extremely unique, a bit like this palette as the shades apply so much more beautifully than they appear in the pan. The eyeshadow packaging is a sturdy flat cardboard box with a strapping fellow on the front (presumably this is Matt). This also comes with a sleeve carrying the same picture. There is a large mirror on the flip of the box perfect for applying all your makeup and best of all very travel and handbag friendly.

Below are some swatches in natural day light, they look quite matte, the pigmentation is strong and they glide on like a dream. My favourite shades are Kate & Matt Shahvaran, Lisa Campbell, Matte Stupak and Jamie Wong. These shadows apply so smoothly, not to mention the pigmentation is just incredible. The first shade matte lemons is too close to my skin tone to show up on the swatches, this shadow is the perfect base for applying all the other shades.

See how different they look in the sunlight. The sun really brings out the sparkle on the metallic shades

My over all thoughts are that this is a great little buy. I can’t say anything bad about this palette as the shades are all so pretty and usable. This palette retails in the UK for £27.50 from Debenhams and $29.50 in the USA from the Balm

All swatches and reviews are my own. I have very pale skin tone with some freckles.  This product was sent to me complimentary from the balm.
