Build Your Own Palette
Along with the 23 eyeshadows, Phase Zero have released a magnetic palette with mirror to store up to 12 pans. It’s very similar to the Z Palette. The Phase Zero palette is identical in quality but I feel it is much more pleasing on the eye and has the added bonus of a good sized quality mirror. The palette is robust enough for travel without the worry of your shadows coming loose and falling out. The fit is very snug with all 12 pans in place. If you only have a few shades in your palette the magnetic base will keep your pans firmly in place.
There are 23 shadows in the collection.
I’m going to share 12 of their most popular shades.Top to bottom: Bright Light (Shimmer), Snowball (Shimmer), Nude Newbie (shimmer), Pearl Shimmer
Top to Bottom: Banana Beige (satin), Cashmere (satin), Cocoa (shimmer), Warm Taupe (satin)
Top to Bottom: Velvet (satin), Mush-A-Boom (shimmer), Party Dress (shimmer), Coffee Cup (satin).
Quality Finish & Pigmentation
Each shadow is a little different in texture and quality, some are like butter and others more powdery but I don’t say this as a bad thing as with any shadow you are going to expect a difference in texture depending on the colour and finish as you would with any eyeshadow brand. The pigmentation in some of the shades is incredibly strong such as in my particular favourite shade Velvet, a lovely warm metallic plumb that applies like butter on the skin. In the pictures below you can get an idea of how the shadows perform. These have all been applied dry, I didn’t feel the need to apply fix plus to make the shadows pop, they do that all by themselves.
In this look I used the shade Velvet on my lids and blended this with Banana Beige and Cocoa
My second look I created using Nude Newbie blending with Bright Light & Mush-A-Boom and finally on my outer corner I used Cocoa
If you have a subscription to Love Me Beauty (£5 per month) each individual eyeshadow pan sells for £2.90. Without subscription it costs £5.90.
